Problem Note 68575: Multiple "select version()" calls are sent to the Hive database, causing slow performance for the SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) release
You might experience degradation in performance when you query an Apache Hive table. This degradation occurs because multiple "select version()" calls are sent to the Hive database.
To determine how many "select version()" calls are sent to the Hive database, you can execute the following options:
options sastrace=",,,d" sastraceloc=saslog nostsuffix;
